EYS submersible mixers are designed to agitate the effluents collected in your reception pit so that the necesseray solid-liquid consistency can be achieved and maintained within the pit before the slurry can be pumped efficiently and without any disruption to the flow. Without agitation, the solids would settle in the pit and float on the surface, causing your manure pump to pick up only the liquid or the solid fractions of the slurry rather than a consistent mixture.
